Agility Instructor

The Agility Instructor course trains individuals to teach dogs

the skills needed for agility sports.

It covers the proper use of agility equipment, handling techniques, and course design. Instructors learn how to guide dogs through jumps,

tunnels, weave poles, and other obstacles.

What is Agility?

Agility is a fast-paced dog sport where dogs run through an obstacle course, guided by their handler, to complete it as quickly and accurately as possible. It involves physical and mental stimulation, improving a dog’s obedience, focus, and confidence. Obstacles include jumps, tunnels, weave poles, A-frames, teeters, and pause tables. Agility not only strengthens the bond between dog and handler but also promotes overall fitness and behavior improvement.
